DR. ROCCO MONTO, MD

Raymond Rocco Monto, MD, is a Nantucket-based award-winning board-certified orthopedic surgeon & sports medicine specialist, keynote speaker, and author of the best-selling book, THE FOUNTAIN: A Doctor's Prescription to Make 60 the New 30 (with a foreword by Bill Maher of HBO's Real Time). Dr. Monto is an internationally recognized expert in health, aging, and regenerative medicine. He serves as a spokesperson for the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, advises elite athletes, sports teams, celebrities, and organizations worldwide, and is a founding team physician for U.S. Soccer. A former elite soccer player, Dr. Monto earned High Honors in Biology from Haverford College and a Doctor of Medicine degree from New York University. He completed his orthopedic residency at Duke University Medical Center and a sports medicine fellowship at the renowned Steadman-Hawkins Clinic. Dr. Monto is known for translating complex medical concepts into clear, engaging insights.
